I decided to make 5 foxes. They are inspired by a drawing of mine of a fox who has a moon at the end of its tail. I thought it would be cool if I could have a disc light sitting on the tail, but for now I decided to just make wooden circles to see how it will go. The circles are removable.

I used the Miter saw to cut my wood slab into equal blocks and then the band saw to cut each block into halves.

I stenciled my drawing on my wood blocks. I tried to make the design simple enough so that it could be cut, and with balanced proportions so that it wouldn't fall over since the circle would be sitting on the tail. I ran out of lead for my pencil and everyone I asked didn't have a pencil, so I decided I'll use a pen instead. I later found out this was a bad idea because some pen marks were visible on the final and couldn't be erased.

My first prototype:

It was my first time using the bandsaw and so I had a hard time controlling it to make the curves, as you can see by the tail.

The fox bodies: I got better at the bandsaw overtime and used the technique of slicing up parts and removing them instead of trying to cut the curves all in one go.

I used this sanding bit to smooth out harsh edges and holes left by the band saw, and used the disc one to smooth out the surface so it feels nicer to the touch.
